JWA: Garden of Enduring Values

A 2 acre approved site design for a Japanese-American Center with multiple approved uses. The project recognizes the historical nature of the property which has been jointly owned by multiple families in the community for close to a hundred years to embed viable commercial opportunities. The project is thought of as a series of four gardens recognizing varying significant aspects of the culture and ecology. The project locates areas for retail, gathering, guest houses, historic archive and senior assisted living.
