CCA/AEL Marine Research

Principals Margaret Ikeda and Evan Jones have been working within CCA to prototype surfaces for optimized marine habitats. Since 2015 emerging out of the Buoyant Ecologies studios (with Adam Marcus). The designs were fabricated by Kreysler and Associates in American Canyon and monitored and deployed by Benthic Lab at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories. This work has led to integration between processes of digital design, fabrication and the habitation of marine organisms.
